I was born and raised in Edmonton, Alberta with my family. I am the youngest of 3 siblings.
From a young age, my dad would take me to sporting events. He was a football season ticket holder of the Edmonton Eskimos and we also spent lots of time at the Edmonton Northlands Race Track watching horse racing! A family member owned horses, and one even came in 2nd place in the 1994 Canadian Derby! (see the racehorse's profile who placed 2nd here).
That was an exhilarating experience to be a part of in-person and no doubt shaped my future views of placing bets and gambling!
I always had an interest in business but initially pursued my creative passion in hairstyling and esthetics two years after graduating high school. My entrepreneurial spirit has never allowed me to accept being in business for someone else and I've always known my feet were not meant to remain planted still for long.
This is what led to me entering the Financial Services Industry with a Fortune 500 company. I was able to help working-class people make educated, informed decisions on financial assets and liabilities affecting them and their families' future and helped to ensure they were protected during some of their lives' most unimaginable moments. The financial opportunity it gave was rewarding but what was most fulfilling was the countless stories of people being able to avoid financial disaster because of the benefits the company provided them and their families with.
I attended quarterly business conferences around the world at top-rated hotels and casinos. I have stayed and played in some of the most exotic, exhilarating world-class casinos.
My vast experience and background in collecting, analyzing, and interpreting data, has made me a "casino connoisseur" of sorts.
I have taken my own personal experiences along with other players and created a user-friendly platform that allows gamblers and player's alike to use to make educated, informed decisions about online casinos, gaming, and betting sites across the internet.
